Rajendraa Singhh Theatre Actor & Teacher portrayed with flawless and mesmerizing performances on the stage and He has been actively involved in Rajasthan theatre panorama over twenty eight years and wants to be a catalyst for theatre. To promote and inspire the greatest possible professionalism in theatre, he continues to work with that objective in mind.
Introduction
I have been actively participating in theatre for the last 25 years. I have been trained in National School of Drama, Theatre in Education Wing, Agartala in Tripura state. This Theatre in Education is the first training centre in whole Asia. Here trainees learn the work of an Actor-Teacher. I do acts in schools and colleges and also try to motivate their administration to carry out theater art in their respective institution. I specially want to work with children and do something for the children’s creative exploration. I have a strong believe that theater as an art should reach to everyone and one must get the opportunity to relate it with once life. I have been actively associated with Rajasthan theatre panorama for over Eighteen years. In order to promote and inspire the maximum number of people in theatre, I myself founded MUDRA THEATRE GROUP in 2005. During my last 20 years of experience in theatre I have gone to every nook and corner of the state-starting from the street corners to the remote villages to town and also in metropolitan cities. In this 20 years acted/directed 52 plays. Perform approx. 240 street plays and conduct over 25 theatre workshops with the students of schools and colleges in Ajmer, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Gujrat, Tripura. From 2007 focus on children theatre and worked with various school children. I Worked as Creative Director / Head of Theatre (Cultural activities) at Shreyas Foundation, Ahmedabad. Rajendrraa has been honored at various forums. Akhra Samman 2012 by Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda, 2011 by Ajmer District Administration for remarkable contribution in the field of theater. Many esteemed forums like Book Trust of India, New Delhi, Ajmer Literature Festival, Dainik Bhaskar, Ajayameru Press Club and many more has been awarded. I also work as Graphic Designer from 2000. I have design photo album, coffee table book, books, booklet, brochures, posters, Flash presentation, documentary and creative multimedia presentations for various renowned institutions.
